Mr. Salazar is a Senior Attorney at the Fresno County Public Defender’s Office. Mr. Salazar was born and raised in the Central Valley in the small town of Sanger. He completed his undergraduate work at UC Berkeley and graduated from UC Hasting College of the Law.
Mr. Salazar entered the race to push back against the obvious Republican, establishment grab of power happening at Fresno Superior Courthouse. Mr. Salazar has been vocal on the public policy issue of ICE agents in the courthouse and the importance of diversity and inclusion as a way to protect the concept of equal justice and justice for all.
